Each year the New York Botanical Garden holds an Orchid Show showcasing thousands of orchids in the Enid A. Haupt Conservatory.
The exhibit leads you through a meandering path through the building. Large and small, the orchids are a wonder to see.
The path leads you to an extraordinary display of orchids piled high into the sky.
Beautiful blooms hanging down from the ceiling.
The orchids were placed along side permanent displays like these cactus.
We walked through a path covered in ferns, moss and other plants clinging to the walls.
I especially loved these tiny tiny burst of colorful flowers. My wonderful assistant is pointing to the flowers so you can see how tiny they were!
